Volleyball – Duke University ’05

Joe Terry was my strength coach and physical therapist throughout my high school volleyball career. With his help, I was honored to be named St. Louis Post Dispatch Player of the Year, to receive Illinois First Team All State honors, and to get a full volleyball scholarship to Duke University. As much as I valued and benefited from Joe’s guidance as a strength coach, I was equally inspired and influenced by him as a role model. His work ethic, passion, and friendship provided me with critical guidance during my adolescent years. Eight years later, I still consider Joe a close friend and the top strength coach in the region.
